About

Untitled was an early work visualizing Brooks’ surroundings at the time, reflecting the state of UK politics, Brexit, and his personal struggles with future decision-making. Overwhelmed by a constant flood of information, both globally and personally, he experienced difficulty focusing and a persistent sense of overstimulation, feeling that his own thoughts went unheard. In response, Brooks created a monolithic tar-like structure dense, almost sticky, and seemingly ready to absorb everything in its path. Bringing the internal experience into a tangible, external form.
