Untitled 2 is the final, resolved work emerging from a series of tests and experimental pieces within a larger body of work that explored the intersections of performance art, audience participation, and sculpture through the innovative use of dust sheets. Fascinated by the hypnotic movements and calming qualities these materials exhibited when influenced by air currents, Brooks later focused on their effect on the viewer.
